Rahul Gandhi gets first dose of vaccine

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had taken his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday, three days ago, according to sources. Therefore after receiving the jab, he did not attend Parliament on July 29 and July 30.

Earlier on April 20, Rahul Gandhi tested positive for coronavirus following which his vaccination got delayed. Though Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has in the past questioned him over the delay and accused him and his family of creating vaccine hesitancy.

Rahul Gandhi expresses concern over rising Covid-19 cases in Kerala on Friday, he said, "Rising cases of coronavirus infections in Kerala are worrying. I appeal to our brothers and sisters in the state to follow all the safety measures and guidlines. Please take care".
