Taking about Pathfinder's interior There are two types of seat upholstery available that is the cloth-covered seats in the base trim and leather-wrapped seats for the pricier premium trims. But regardless of the material, the seats are expected to be comfortable enough with a good amount of padding and support. The front seats were the most comfortable couple, the 2nd row and the third row are not as uncomfortable as such.

Exterior changes, The revised models have been given a new-look front and rear to differentiate them from their predecessors. Changes at the front include a new bonnet, a revised grille, and a new bumper assembly. Adding 80 mm to the length of both models, the bumper is more rounded and lends a more sporting touch to the cars.

Pathfinders were available in both 2WD and manually engaged 4WD configurations, with base models installed with a 2.4 L four-cylinder engine. In certain countries, this generation also came with a 2.7 L I4 Diesel Engine known as the TD27 with the option of a turbocharger installed later in November 1988.

All Pathfinders come equipped with an 8inch touchscreen display which is likely to be replaced with a newer unit. Its brightness is okay for a less illuminated environment but in direct sunlight, it takes a hit and washes out hampering overall visibility sometimes. It comes with basic features such as Bluetooth, AUX, and USB connectivity.
