Resonance

The Resonance concept is similar to the current Murano in every measurement. Its proportions also imitate the production of mid-size crossover’s, with a jellybean-like profile and a stumpy hood. This being a radical concept car, however, these are pretty much where the Resonance/Murano similarities end

The interior design says no word on whether hypothetical future Resonance customers will enjoy priority boarding, slightly more legroom, or a free in-flight, er, drive meal.) Having never traveled either in space or in first class, we can’t speak to the accuracy of Nissan’s design efforts

The Nissan's resonance says the concept makes use of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder mated with an electric motor and a continuously variable transmission (CVT); all-wheel drive also is part of the mix. The electric motor is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, which can be recharged with kinetic energy captured during braking.

Nissan is hoping the Resonance concept resonates with shoppers of two-row, mid-size crossovers” so that it can “increase the frequency with which Muranos leave dealership lots.” That would be too easy, but the sentiment certainly rings true.
