18 arrested from a Vasant Kunj farmhouse for operating a fake call centre

According to the crime section of the Delhi Police, 18 persons were detained from a Vasant Kunj farmhouse that was reportedly being used as a phoney call centre to target Americans by threatening to falsely accuse them of downloading child pornography on their computers.According to Ravindra Singh Yadav, special commissioner of police (criminal branch), the arrested individuals included the suspected proprietor of the contact centre, his collaborators, and 14 telemarketers who also resided in the same three-story farmhouse on Church Road in Vasant Kunj, south Delhi.
