Anjali Yadav | THE DEN

The Supreme Court said today that air pollution in Delhi has increased despite the government's statements, and expressed dissatisfaction with the measures taken in recent weeks. "We believe nothing is happening and the pollution is not stopping increasing only time is being wasted," Chief Justice NV Ramana said at the hearing. This is the fourth week in a row that courts have heard arguments about the aviation crisis in the national capital and neighboring towns. Alerted to stern action, the court gave the center and Delhi 2

hours to take action against industrial and transport pollution, which is considered the main cause by the central government. Air quality in Delhi dropped dramatically last month after Diwali. Farm fires are also cited as the source, but this has led to debates and blame games. A month later, the city is still at the end of the rope. Challenging the government Causing Kejriwal to reopen schools, the high court declared that "three and four-year-olds go to school but adults work from home". "We will appoint someone to run your government," Chief Justice Ramana said.
