Appeal by Goa for Tarun Tejpal’s acquittal

The Goa government filed an appeal in Maharashtra High Court against a session court’s order of acquittal and dismissal of all charges against him. The alleged incident happened in November 2013. He was released on bail in July 2014. The real began in 2017. In that time, Tarun Tejpal moved both to the High Court as well as the Supreme Court for quashing of charges, but both the courts refused to intervene.
