Brigadier Lidder laid to rest with full military honors after helicopter crash

The body of Brigadier Lakhbinder Singh Lidder, who died two days ago in a helicopter crash, was laid to rest on Friday with full military honours. Rajnath Singh and the three chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force paid their respects to the brigadier at Brar Square, Delhi Cantonment. His wife and daughter also paid their last respects.

The Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khatter and national security advisor Ajit Doval also paid tribute to Brigadier Lidder.

According to the Army, the mortal remains of only three people have been positively identified to date -- General Rawat, Madhulika Rawat, and Brigadier Lidder.
