Cars under 1 crore Toyota Vellfire


The outward design and aesthetics of the Toyota Vellfire are all attractive to the sight, but like with all other MPVs, it's what the Vellfire is like on the inside that counts. All we need to say is that it's oozing with bling and is a colossal MPV. If you're looking for a car that can do it all for less than a crore, the Vellfire could be the answer.



Although at 89.90 Lakh Ex-Showroom it is no cheap car so lets see if it really delivers on its price. Its large size gives away the fact that the Toyota Vellfire has lots of space.


A second row of captain chairs, which appear like they belong on a Boeing, is revealed behind powered sliding doors. Toyota offers two interior colour options: beige and black. the plush leather seats, which you sink into and are engulfed by as soon as you do. To recline the backrests, lift and extend the footrests, and even slide the chairs forth and back, fully electrically controlled, the controls of which are available in a flip-open panel.



The cabin is also extremely adaptable. The third-row seats slide forward to create more luggage room, split 50:50, and can also be flipped to the sides to get out of the way completely. The plasticky surfaces are more noticeable at the front of the cabin than in the back, where efforts have been taken to lay soft, plush materials at important contact spots. The leather- wrapped dash appears, with a big 10-inch touchscreen proudly positioned at the top of the centre tunnel.


This car is powered by a 2.5-liter petrol engine and two electric motors, one on each axle. The power is handled by a CVT, and manual control is provided via the gear lever, as there are no paddleshifters. This will be the only engine available, and it should be the Vellfire's second most distinctive feature after the second row seating. Toyota promises a fuel efficiency of 16 kmpl, which is a huge number for a car of its size.


The petrol engine we get is reported to be 117PS, not 150PS as some overseas versions claim, with a maximum torque of 198Nm between 2,800 and 4,000rpm, with the front motor rated at 143PS and the rear motor at 68PS. Toyota claims a combined power output of 197PS but doesn't reveal torque. Now this might not be the perfect car for everyone but if you need a chauffeur driven vehicle that you can take on trips, the Toyota Vellfire is a ‘GO’ from us.


Cars under 50 Lakhs BMW 3 Series


You haven't been paying attention if you haven't heard of the BMW 3 Series. Simply said, it is one of the best all-rounders on the market. This is the automobile for you if you want a luxury, practical family saloon and you enjoy driving. All of that under 50 lakhs and that too with a BMW badge makes it simply irresistible.


It's difficult to argue against the 3 Series as a well-rounded, pseudo-entry-level luxury sedan. It skill-fully balances behind- the-wheel exhilaration with everyday practicality, modernism, and quality. Although the car's German rivals give it a run for its money, this BMW is ready to sprint. Prices start from 42 lakhs ex-showroom and go all the way up to 48 lakhs for the 330i M-sport variant.


The BMW 3 Series is distinguished by its superior build quality and luxurious materials. Instead of radiating luxury, the entire cabin design is more basic and subdued. If you're seeking for the most opulent upscale car, look elsewhere.


The interior of the latest car resembles that of the 5 Series and 7 Series, which isn't a negative thing because both of those cars have a great, high-quality feel to them. BMW's Live Cockpit Professional package, which incorporates a 12.3-inch digital dash display with completely customisable information, is now also standard.


The BMW 3 Series come equipped with a 255 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It effortlessly pushes the car, complemented by a razor-sharp eight-speed transmission that shifts through the gears quickly. The BMW 3 Series has traditionally been the go-to compact executive car for customers seeking an enjoyable driving experience. And, and in the most part, this newest iteration of the 3 Series keeps its position as the class's best driver's car.



The BMW 3 Series is already a fun car to drive, having excellent road holding and a better ride quality than its predecessor. When the car is fully loaded with occupants and luggage, however, the damping is harsher to account for the additional weight, resulting in noticeably improved body control without sacrificing ride quality. If you spend 50 lakhs on this bimmer, you just cannot go wrong.


Cars under 40 Lakhs Skoda Kodiaq


The Kodiaq was updated in 2022, and while the improvements appear minimal, there has been a significant amount of work done. This makes it a good value for money alternative for those looking to spend less than 40 lakhs. The previous Kodiaq was infamous for putting luxury SUV purchasers in a pickle, particularly those trying to break into the premium SUV market.


The original Kodiaq was known for its incredible value proposition, which included all of the "premiumness" with a little more in terms of usability and space; new one aims to outperform its predecessor.


What's under the hood here on Kodiaq is the more noticeable modification. The 2.0-litre diesel engine has been replaced by a powerful 2.0-litre TSI engine with 190hp. This facelifted Kodiaq has a bit of a kick to it, thanks to its 7-speed DSG gearbox. The 0-100kph time is stated to be 7.8 seconds, and owing to launch control and AWD, it is a number you can trust.


The Kodiaq's well-fitting suit hides a monocoque chassis, as opposed to the body-on-frames found in the other 7-seaters at such a price bracket like the Fortuner or Gloster. What it lacks in sheer robustness, it more than makes up for in agility. The Kodiaq drives surprisingly nicely for such a huge vehicle. Not that handling is a primary focus for someone buying a car that's nearly 5 meters long, but there are plenty of people who want a big, practical automobile that is enjoyable to drive and the Skoda Kodiaq fulfils their need.


The Kodiaq is really about luxury, and that isn't going to change. Roof rails, virtual cockpit, touchscreen interface, dual zone air con, panoramic sunroof, connected car features, a 360-degree camera, and memory seats with heating and ventilation are all included in the L&K variant. The biggest update for 2022 is the inclusion of wireless phone connectivity, which eliminates the need for wires to connect Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, as well as wireless charging.


When you walk into the new Kodiaq, you're met by a familiar scene. The dashboard design is similar to that of the previous car, and as a result, there is a tremendous sensation of room. The vibrant upholstery adds to the cabin's premium sense, and the strong construction all around adds to the overall quality. The steering wheel has been changed to a two-spoke design.

At under 30 lakhs the Innova might seem over-priced considering it was launched at under 10 lakhs, current prices range between 17-25 lakhs ex-showroom. With the added luxury and an evergreen diesel motor, you cannot go wrong with the Innova even today. The dependability of this car is absolutely unmatched in this segment.


The size of the Innova Crysta is the first thing you will notice about it. The Toyota Innova Crysta looks trendy and modern, has a good amount of road presence, and its styling isn't too bad. The higher-end models have 17-inch wheels, while the lower-end models have 16-inch wheels.


The Innova's interior has greatly improved over the years. Leather is used liberally throughout, and the overall build quality is excellent. The dashboard has a modern design with some really lovely components. The asymmetric design, as well as the exquisite use of wood trim and leather, are particularly noteworthy. You can choose between a 6 or 7-seat configuration from Toyota. The third row has enough room for two persons to sit comfortably.



The cabin is well-designed, and the equipment list is enough. You get a touchscreen navigation system with good sound quality, but the screen is sluggish and unfriendly to use. The MPV is equipped with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control that can be disabled, a rear parking camera, keyless entry and start, automatic climate control, and electronic ORVMs. It does, however, lack a few amenities such as a sunroof and ventilated seats.


The 2.4-litre diesel motor was available earlier as well. At 3400 RPM, it produces 150 PS and 360 Nm at 1400-2600 RPM. It's worth noting that this torque output is only for the AT; the MT produces 343 Nm. The 2.4 is also more fuel efficient than the previous 2.8, which averaged 9-10 kilometres in city driving, whilst this one averages 12-13 km/l.


The ECO and PWR modes are available, and most users will prefer to use the former. The Eco mode isn't too sluggish and has good driveability while also providing somewhat better fuel economy, whilst the Power option makes the motor feel a lot more alive and responsive. In fact, with this mode, the mid- range feels a little more enthused, and overtaking other cars becomes a breeze.


Cars under 20 Lakhs Tata Harrier


When you first drive the Tata Harrier, you might mistake it for a Land Rover with a Tata logo. Harrier isn't just any automobile; it's a premium offering from Tata. Tata went above and beyond to set new standards for dependability and quality.


The Harrier is a good value for money option in the class, with prices ranging from 14.50 to 21.50 lakhs. Let us begin with the tools. The panoramic sunroof comes first. It's pretty large, with three switches to control it: one to slide the sunshade, one to simply pop it up, and one to fully open it. To prevent heat from entering the cabin, the glass is protected with a heat-resistant coating.


The Harrier's driver seat is now 6-way electrically adjustable, as befits the luxury SUV category it occupies. Both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are now integrated into the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. While the feature list remains unchanged, ESP with Hill-hold, traction control, corner stability control with roll-over mitigation, and rear parking sensors are now standard.


You're in a good spot in terms of space. The seats are comfy and there is ample of head, shoulder, and legroom. With rich brown leather upholstery and an oak wood-like accent on the dash, Tata has managed to keep things appearing posh. It's not made of wood or veneer, but of matte plastic, so it looks good from afar but not up close. However, they've employed swaths of piano black across the inside, which doesn't really add anything to the space.


The Harrier is anxious to get going right away and soon settles into a cruise. The upshifts are rapid, and you may not realize if you're driving at part throttle. When you press the gas pedal for a quick overtaking, the automatic transmission shifts down quickly to release its 350 Nm of torque. In city traffic, the Harrier is a breeze to drive, and when you go out on the highway, it'll touch triple digits in no time, and it'll cruise at 100kmph below 2,000rpm.


The Tata Harrier nowadays produces 170PS of power, with 350 Nm of torque remaining the same. The engine specifications are nearly identical, therefore the increased power is due to the improved tune and motor mapping. The Harrier now comes with a six - speed torque-converter automatic gearbox in addition to the six-speed manual.


Cars under 10 Lakhs Hyundai i20


A fast drive inside the new Hyundai i20 fourth generation reveals a lot. It demonstrates how much further Hyundai has progressed as a car manufacturer. It also demonstrates how far the Getz, the very first generation luxury hatchback, has come since its debut in 2004.


The style of the new i20 is aggressive, the engines are small but strong, and the electronics are crammed into the car's window sills. Hyundai is represented by this vehicle. Prices range between 6.98-11.68 lakh ex-showroom and for its price it offers a ton.


The inside of the new i20 is well-designed and user-friendly. The low-set dashboard provides a nice view out the window, the screen and gauges are visible, and commonly used controls are within easy reach. The air-conditioning controls have toggles, which are one of the excellent touches on the dash board. The overall quality is also very high.



The new i20 comes with three engine options, The lineup begins with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. The engine produces 83 horsepower with the manual transmission. Hyundai’s 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 120 horsepower. Hyundai's latest 1.5 diesel, which produces 100 horsepower in the i20 and is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.


Cars under 5 Lakhs Renault Kwid


With the BS6 model, the Kwid has been given a mid-life cycle facelift to keep up with new rivals entering the market. And it's clear from the start that Renault hasn't taken things lightly. At the front, the style of the Kwid has been drastically altered. The Kwid now has a smarter, more modern front end that follows Renault's global SUV design language. The automobile can also comfortably seat four people.



The engine is smooth and provides linear acceleration, but it could use a little more power in the low end. With 68 horsepower and 91 Nm of torque, it's nice to drive on the highway. At higher speeds, though, the engine noise permeates into the interior quite a bit, which can be annoying on lengthy rides. The AMT transmission, on the other hand, should have been better adjusted.
