Facebook says it ‘aims to comply’

Just hours before the deadline, Facebook spokesperson said that they aim to comply with government’s guidelines and are discussing issues that need more engagement with the government. The company added that it is working to implement operational process and improve efficiencies while being committed to people’s ability to freely and safely express themselves. Facebook also owns WhatsApp and Instagram which will also be impacted by the new guidelines.
