Factory in Mayapuri catches fire; Nine injured including 2 policemen

Around 2am on Wednesday, a fire broke out at a factory in Mayapuri, west Delhi, inflicting minor injuries on nine people, two of whom were police officers, ranging in age from 23 to 60.
According to officials, most of the injured were industrial workers who were being treated at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.
According to Atul Garg, head of the Delhi Fire Services, the fire started in the plant where sofa springs are packed.
The ground floor of a three-story building that was built on a 92 square metre block of land caught fire. According to Garg, the fire also caused a glue drum to break. During the rescue effort, two of the victims sustained burn injuries, while the others sustained non-fire injuries. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
