Fear of Death not grounds for Anticipatory Bail

Anticipatory bail shall not be granted as a sweeping order, but observations need to be mad in each case, the Supreme Court said in the UP government’s plea to stay the order of anticipatory bail in Prateek Jain case, a conman with over 130 cases against him due to the cited reason of fear of life due to covid.
