Karnataka Polls; Congress defeats BJP with flying colours

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, praised his party on the overwhelming win it is expected to secure in the Karnataka Assembly election. Rahul Gandhi promised that the five party promises will be upheld in the state, saying that Congress "fought Karnataka war with love." All eyes are currently focused on Congress' choice for the position of chief minister, for which DK Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, and Mallikarjun Kharge are considered to be the leading candidates.
