Kerala cabinet issues ordinance for the removal of Kerala governor from the VC post

In order to remove Governor Arif Mohammad Khan from the position of Chancellor, the Kerala Cabinet resolved to introduce an ordinance. The government is preparing to replace the Chancellor with an expert.

Governor Arif Mohammad Khan is a chancellor of state varsities. At the age of 26, he became a MLA. On 23 October he asked nine VCs to resign from their posts after the apex court annulled the appointment of MS Rajasree as a vice chancellor of the Abdul Kalam Technical University.
