Late night fire in West Delhi takes shop owner's life

Delhi Police received information about a fire in West Delhi's Baba Haridas Nagar around 2:20 am on Sunday.

After the Fire Department controlled the fire in a shop, they recovered a body of a 40 year old man. Arun, the victim was the shop owner and a resident of Bengali Colony, Naveen Place, Najafgarh.

While the preliminary analysis is that he was sleeping in the shop while the fire broke out, investigation is under way with speculation of foul play.

The body was later transferred to RTRM hospital morgue for further investigation.
