Luxury car of the month - April

|HT|

If you’re looking for an SUV that gives you a good driving feel and decent dynamics then this is BMW’s answer for you. The X7 is the ‘sporty’ SUV from BMW that promises to impress you. Ranging from 1.06-1.74 Cr ex-showroom, the BMW X7 is no cheap car, but for all that money you do get a lot of car.

This is the largest Bimmer and is well-suited for wealthy families, with more real estate to display its expensiveness and six seats distributed across three rows. While the cargo compartment and back seats aren't as spacious as those in rivals, the X7 runs better and has a more appealing powertrain lineup.

The powertrain hierarchy includes a 335-hp turbocharged inline-six and a 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 265PS and 620Nm, both backed by a fantastic automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

It has a smooth ride thanks to its standard air suspension with adjustable damping, especially in Comfort mode. The X7, unfortunately, has a tendency to lean in corners, despite its otherwise athletic appearance. Due to the short sidewalls on the wheels, the selected Sport mode firms things up somewhat, with harsh impacts invading on the interior's usually peaceful serenity.

The X7's luxurious inside is well-appointed, innovation packed, and spacious, drawing inspiration from the lesser BMW X5 SUV and the luxury 7-series. Inside, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and ambient interior lighting are just a few of the luxurious features.

The front two rows of the X7 are particularly roomy, and the driver has a wide range of electronic seat and wheel adjustment. In reality, the middle row may be electrically adjusted and folded, and the third row folds into the boot floor as well. In addition, convenient buttons in the boot allow you to fold the back two rows at the same time for convenience.
