Man from Bihar believed dead by family found eating momos in Noida

A man from Bhagalpur, Bihar, who had been missing for several months and was assumed dead by his family, was discovered in Noida eating momos. Nishant Kumar, a resident of Naugachia in the Bhagalpur district, vanished on January 31, 2023, while he was visiting his in-laws' home for a wedding. This led to an unusual episode. Ravi Shankar Singh, his brother-in-law, reported a missing person to the Sultanganj police station, but Nishant's father suspected his son's in-laws of kidnapping and murder.

In Noida Sector 50, the shopkeeper of a momos stand allegedly chased a beggar wearing shabby clothing away, according to Ravi Shankar Singh. Singh claimed that the beggar kept requesting food and claiming to be hungry. He added that he felt bad for the man and urged the shopkeeper to give him momos.

After asking the beggar for his identity, Ravi Shankar was shocked to hear him identify himself as Nishant Kumar, the son of Sachidananda Singh and a resident of Dhruvganj, Naugachia.

Nishant was taken to Sector 13 police station, according to Ravi Shankar, who claimed to have instantly dialled 100 to summon the police. Additionally, Sultanganj police station, where he was reported missing months ago, was notified by Delhi Police.
