MG India To Launch 2 Electric SUVs In 2022

MG intends to expand its electric car lineup by launching a brand-new model by the conclusion of the fiscal year 2022-23. MG Motor India will also give its popular ZS EV a considerable facelift in the coming months. The Astor mid-sized SUV was introduced by MG Motor India during the festival season of last year, around Diwali.

MG Motor will launch the revised ZS EV in the country in February, according to reports. The new model will have major interior and exterior improvements, as well as a larger battery capacity. The next model is expected to feature a 51kWh battery with a range of roughly 480 kilometres.

MG Motor India has confirmed that an electric car will be launched before the end of FY 2022-23, or in March 2023. It would cost between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh and will be aimed at the masses.

This all-electric crossover will be built on a worldwide platform that has been tailored to the needs of the Indian market. It will be a sub-4-meter crossover with a potential electric range of more than 300 kilometres. It will compete with Tata Nexon EV, which is now the best-selling electric vehicle.
