Rahul Gandhi shifts to Sonia Gandhi's house which is bigger than Modi's

On April 22, congress leader  Rahul Gandhi left his government bungalow at 12 Tughlak Lane. His possessions were transported to his mother Sonia Gandhi's home at 10 Janpath by trucks carrying packed cargo. After losing his seat in the Lok Sabha, he left his home. He received notification from the House committee on March 27 that he had 30 days to leave his official residence.

Although Rajiv Gandhi lived at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg while he was India's Prime Minister, 10, Janpath was his official address at the time of his assassination in 1991, when he was running for a second term. His widow Sonia Gandhi, a former president of the Indian National Congress party, continues to live at 10, Janpath. Right behind it on 24 Akbar Road is the Indian National Congress (INC) national headquarters. Lal Bahadur Shastri, India's second prime minister (1964–1966), lived there and laid in state there on January 11, 1966.
