Sidhu Moosewala shot dead in Jawaharpur village of Punjab's Mansa

Famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot deat in Jawaharpur village of Punjab's Mansa district on Sunday.

The singer, had contested the Assembly polls on a Congress ticket from Mansa. He was defeated by AAP’s Dr Vijay Singla. On Friday, Punjab Police had ordered the withdrawal of security of 424 people which included Sidhu Moosewala. Hailing from the village of Moosa in Mansa district of Punjab, he started his career on a duet song titled "G Wagon". In 2018, he released his debut album PBX 1, which peaked at 66th on Billboard Canadian Albums chart. Also, his single "47" was ranked on UK Singles Chart. In 2020, Sidhu was named by The Guardian among the top 50 new artists.
