Turkey Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu wants to establish holistic relations with Asia, he said while inaugurating a new office of Sri Lanka's Antalya Honorary Consulate General in the town of Alanya.
He expressed the desire of Turkey to promote and enlighten the cooperation in the field of Culture, Economy and Education. he also highlighted the role of Honorary Consulates in Democratic Interactions. He also added about the Historic Relations of Turkey and Sri lanka, when Srilanka got his Independence, turkey was one of the first country to recognise a Sub - Continent Country.
