Washington sues Amazon

A case was filed in Washington D.C. Superior Court by Attorney General Karl Racine against Amazon on antitrust grounds, alleging the company’s practices have unfairly raised prices for consumers and suppressed innovation. Till 2019, Amazon prohibited sellers from selling price at lower prices on a competitor’s site. Amazon quietly changed it to fair pricing policy which gives right to Amazon ti impose sanctions on a seller selling their product at a lower price on any competitors platform.
