Yves Saint Laurent's Caftan- Le Vestiare Des Parfumes

|THE DEN|

Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent, better known by his initials YSL, was a French fashion designer who started his eponymous fashion company in 1962.

He is widely considered one of the twentieth century's most important fashion designers. He used a unique approach to his aesthetic, supporting women in developing confidence by seeming at once relaxed and sophisticated. Saint Laurent was the first living fashion designer to be honoured with a solo exhibition at the MetropolitanMuseum of Art in 1983.

He also established a foundation in Paris alongside Bergé to study the history of YSL's residence, which has 15,000 artefacts and 5,000 pieces of clothing. Saint Laurent was named the highest-earning dead celebrity by Forbes in 2009.

This month we've chosen Yves Saint Laurent's Caftan- Le Vestiare Des Parfumes as our fragrance of the month. A floating veil of incense embroidered with vanilla lightly drapes the skin in the same way that the fluidity of the caftan caresses the body.

CAFTAN is inspired by Moroccan culture and incorporates all of the East's vibrant and brilliant materials. Amber shimmers with deep sensuous promises that echo the ochre and sandy colours' enthusiasm and warmth. It is a type of unisex fragrance.

It has an upper note of Amber, a middle note of Incense and a base note of Vanilla. It is a warm and spicy fragrance with spices and patchouli. This perfume will make you smell like an epitome of luxury with a blend of amber, incense and vanilla. It will cost you Rs 19,458 to smell like an opulent queen for "her going out tonight".
