Ada Masotti used her corset skills to create several types of lingerie over time, inventing styles and altering how lingerie was thought of and worn. La Perla introduced a lingerie range based on colourful, floral, and checkered patterns with the more typical white, black, and nude to adapt to the vibrant fashion statements of the 1960s. The silk jersey triangular bra, created by La Perla in the 1970s, provided for free-flowing mobility and reflected fashion's inclination for a lower bust. With its clinging gowns and natural flowing lines, La Perla released its stretch lace sets in 1978, mimicking the fashion of the day.
This month, we've chosen La Perla's Underwired Long Line Bra In Black as our lingerie of the month. This gorgeous underwire bra is trimmed with stunning macramé that has been placed using the Florentine method of frastaglio, highlighting La Perla's artisan craftsmanship. The straps of this bra are removable and it also features side panels in ultra-light lycra. The bra has beautiful lace flower motifs around it that enhance the beauty of the product.
