The Versace logo represents the head of Medusa, a Greek mythological figure. The logo came from the floor of ruins in the area of Reggio Calabria that the Versace siblings played in as children.
Medusa was chosen as the logo by Gianni Versace because she made people fall in love with her and there was no going back. He hoped to see his label having the same impact on individuals, especially those who wore his clothes and shoes. This brand is known for its unique designs that are bright in colours and have symbolic flashy prints with style. In less than a decade, Versace went from a small boutique in Milan to a globally recognised brand worth $800 million. This is not only a masterpiece but something that every designer desires and envies.
