The R8 is Audi's flagship vehicle and is powered by a massive V-10 engine hidden behind its cutting-edge interior. Its engine and mechanics are identical to those of the obnoxious Lamborghini Huracán, but the R8's mellow personality and aesthetic create a more subdued statement. Depending on what you have in mind for your eight figure supercar, that could be a good or negative thing. 
 With up to 602 horsepower available, the R8 truly soars, and the exhaust noise will make you tremble. Inside, all of Audi's cutting-edge technology is on display, including a digital gauge cluster that can be customised and comes with navigation as standard. The cabin seems on pace with the R8's asking price thanks to the use of high-quality materials everywhere.
The R8's V-10 engine comes in two different power levels, both of which are capable of taking the breath out of unwary passengers and scorching your eardrums with their alien breaths. However, the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission on the R8 isn't exactly the smoothest. Sometimes, it downshifts too quickly and possibly too deeply, resulting in a neck-snapping acceleration followed by a nearly instantaneous upshift to a higher gear. Never has minimalism been so opulent. Audi presents a pleasantly straightforward arrangement, allowing the exquisitely contoured racing seats and high-resolution digital gauge cluster to take centre stage in the R8's cockpit. The instrument cluster also serves as the infotainment screen. When it comes to interior colours and textures, Audi offers a wide range of options: Black, grey, brown, and red leather are available in flat or quilted patterns, with matching or contrast stitching.
