The new A8 L Security provides VR10 ballistics protection and is equipped with a variety of safety and security features to keep occupants safe. x
 The A8 L Security resembles the ordinary A8 in appearance. Only the thick black outlining of the windows and the additional blue LED strobe lights - found in areas like the grille and rear windscreen - distinguish it as the armoured brother. The layers of armour created from a blend of high-strength steel and a unique aluminium alloy sit behind the body shell. To deflect missiles, the glass is also multi-layered.
