Call me by your name
Call me by your name and I’ll call you by mine! This coming- of-age romantic drama is purely full of love, love and just love. It’s both beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. From cinematographic eye to ear soothing music, “call me by your name” is entirely a beautiful piece of art. It will leave you broken in the most pleasing way. I won’t recommend this movie just to homosexuals but to everyone. It’s a tale of first love in the middle of warm, sunny skies, gentle breezes and charming trees where a young man ‘Elio’ falls in love with a handsome graduate boy ‘Oliver’ who comes to stay with his family in Northern Italy in the summer of 1983.

Even after being totally opposite personalities they develop feelings for each other while hanging out. They share a beautiful physical and emotional bond. At the end of summer Oliver leaves since he had to; which breaks their hearts.
After almost 3 years Oliver calls Elio and tells he got engaged with a woman which leaves Elio broken so he sits staring into fire feeling his pain and not turning away from it. This scene will make you stare blankly at the screen with a lump in your throat and tightness in your chest or perhaps you’ll need tissues. It tells you that you should feel & accept every emotion and most importantly let that come out even if it’s pain because pain is such a beautiful emotion of love.
