"Young, Dumb & Broke" is one of Khalid’s signature songs and
one of his catchiest. In this song, Khalid reflects the truth of the
youngsters, but he does it with a slightly stronger style. It is an
adult contemporary ballad, crooning over the intricate piano,
palm-muted electric guitar, and a slick electronic beat. As of
March 2022, the single has been certified 9× Platinum by the
Recording Industry Association of America, and has been
streamed over one billion times on Spotify.
