The seeds of diplomacy finally bore fruit with help from over 40 countries

The Prime Minister of India Narendar Modi spent 713 crores on chartered flights on his foreign visits since his party formed the government in May 2014.
The people have always been dissatisfied with the huge wastage of taxpayer’s money. With over a 100 trips to over 60 countries, people wondered whether The Prime Minis- ter was having a long vacation.

The government defended the fact that Modi’s diplomacy has increased India’s global relations worldwide and brought in loads of investment for the country.
But, the results came in in April 2021 when India suffered from the worst affect of the coronavirus pandemic and the health infrastructure was itself gasping for breaths while the patients were dying out of no oxygen, the world came for India. With the campaign under #WeStandWithIndia, more than 40 countries came bearing gifts with concentrators, cylinders, ventilators, Remdesivir, Favipiravir oxy- gen generating plants, masks etc.
