At least 4 bogies of Bikaner-Guwahati Express derails near Mainaguri in West Bengal

In a massive tragedy, About four to five bogies of the Bikaner-Guwahati Express of the Northeast Frontier Railway zone reportedly derailed near Domohani of Mainaguri in northern part of West Bengal. The train had departed from Patna. Reports suggested that several passengers are feared injured. Railway officials have rushed to the spot and Gas cutters are being used in rescue operations. Preliminary assessment suggests a possibility of crack in railway track, which might have caused the accident.
