Dainik Jagran Journalist Shot Dead In Bihar; Nitish Kumar Ensures Speedy Investigation

A local journalist in Bihar's Araria district was shot dead earlier today at his home by unidentified shooters, Bihar Police said. The occurrence occurred in the Raniganj Market region. CM Nitish Kumar has considered it a dukhad (miserable) occurrence and expressed that he quickly instructed the authorities to start investigating.

Vimal Kumar Yadav, the 35-year-old victim was a journalist at the 'Dainik Jagran' paper, police said. The shooters thumped on his entryway and called out to him at around 5:30 am, and shot him in the chest when he opened the entryway, they said.
