Donald Trump exaggerated his wealth by $3.6 billion, court rules in favour of New York's AG

Judge Arthur Engoron ruled against Donald Trump and key executives in a civil suit brought by New York's Attorney General Letitia James.

The judge refused to accept Trump's argument that a disclaimer on the financial statements absolved him of any wrongdoing.

The exaggerated prices allowed Trump to get cheaper loans and lower premiums which is a violation of law and crossed a line, according to the judge.
