The district administration in Kota will examine coaching students' psychological health every two weeks in an effort to curb the soaring number of suicides among this population, according to officials.
The assessments will aid in identifying pupils who may have suicidal tendencies so that prompt counselling may be given to them.
The decision to evaluate the application of standards for coaching institutes and hostels was made at a district-level meeting with representatives of coaching institutes, hostels, and other stakeholders on Saturday.
