|The Den|

Today, September 7, will mark the start of the enormous Bharat Jodo Yatra that the Congress party has organized to "connect and unite India." The padayatra is scheduled to start on Wednesday night and last for more than 4 months.

According to the Bharat Jodo Yatra's official timetable and route, the Congress workers taking part in the foot march will pass through 20 cities located in 12 different Indian states. The Yatra will start tonight in Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari and conclude in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rahul Gandhi, a prominent member of the Congress, will lead the Bharat Jodo Yatra and is anticipated to walk 150 days from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The march is intended to draw attention to both the "Bharat Jodo" and the "Congress Jodo," as party leader Shashi Tharoor has noted.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra will travel 3,570 kilometers throughout the nation, passing through 12 states and 20 cities, according to the official timetable. Senior Congress officials will address crowds at a number of rallies held as the padayatra travels across the cities to disseminate its message and goals.

Rahul Gandhi will be completing the Bharat Jodo Yatra on foot, with several prominent party leaders such as Kanhaiya Kumar, handy Oommen, Pawan Khera, and Vijay Inder Singla by his side during the 150 days.
